Michelle was born and raised in El Paso Texas and has resided in Arizona for the past 15 years. She has over 13 years of HR professional experience. Areas of focus have been in management, leadership development, work force diversity, employee relations, recruitment, compliance, training and development, total rewards, risk management, and employee engagement. Throughout her career, Michelle has worked closely with Executive Management to provide guidance and strategic planning. In addition Michelle has been able to utilize her bilingual skills in her organizations.
Michelle developed and continues lead her organizations Community Outreach Program. She has written articles for the public school systems related to diversity. Being able to actively involve herself in the community brings a sense of giving back to others, not only a sense of accomplishment knowing she is giving back to the profession but also what is learned from the relationships built by helping the community. HR is forever changing and without the support of other HR professionals it could be a difficult road alone.
